We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead an elevated fine-dining Mediterranean restaurant in Phoenix.

Located within a premier luxury hospitality destination, this sophisticated rooftop concept offers vibrant Mediterranean cuisine, shareable mezze, house-made pastas, bold seasonal dishes, an elevated cocktail program, and an extensive wine collection. With stunning indoor and outdoor views, lively entertainment, dinner service, and weekend brunch, the restaurant delivers a high-energy yet refined dining experience.

As the organization continues to grow and expand into new markets, we are strengthening the leadership foundation at our flagship Phoenix location.

This search is for fine-dining candidates only. QSR backgrounds will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operations.
• Lead the floor during service and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, consistency, and hospitality.
• Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining an elevated luxury dining experience.
• Oversee reservations, seating flow, private events, and special functions.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop restaurant team members and managers.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development.
• Foster a professional, accountable, and hospitality-focused team culture.
• Provide leadership and direction during fast-paced and high-volume service periods.

Guest Experience

• Deliver a highly personalized and tailored guest experience.
• Maintain a strong and visible presence on the restaurant floor.
• Build positive relationships with guests, hotel patrons, vendors, and team members.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while protecting the overall dining experience.

Financial & Operational Performance

• Support inventory controls and cost-management initiatives.
• Assist with managing operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Monitor quality and consistency across all areas of service.
• Partner with leadership on business goals and operational improvements.

Concept & Brand Execution

• Assist in executing the overall restaurant vision, service style, and standards.
• Collaborate on food and beverage offerings that support the restaurant's upscale positioning.
• Help maintain the atmosphere, entertainment, and hospitality standards that define the guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a luxury or fine-dining environment.
• Proven leadership experience in upscale, chef-driven, high-end full-service, or luxury hotel restaurants .
• Exceptional hospitality, leadership, and guest-relations skills.
• Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
• Experience managing high-volume service while maintaining elevated standards.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, inventory controls, and financial performance.
• Ability to coach, develop, and mentor restaurant teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
