Role Overview

Help improve AI-narrated audiobooks by evaluating Brazilian Portuguese narration with the perspective of an engaged audiobook listener and the precision of a quality reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-generated Brazilian Portuguese audiobooks and evaluate narration for naturalness, accuracy, and overall enjoyment.
• Identify and document skipped, added, or mispronounced words; incorrectly read numbers; wrongly expanded abbreviations; unnatural phrasing or intonation; and audio glitches or artifacts.
• Classify issues and mark their exact location using review tools.
• Report where the listening experience feels natural and where narration disrupts listener satisfaction.
• Maintain close attention to detail during extended audio-review sessions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Brazilian Portuguese fluency and regular, genuine audiobook listening experience.
• Working English sufficient to write clear reports and communicate with the team. Full bilingual fluency is not required.
• Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or similar detail-focused review work.
• A patient, discerning ear and the ability to remain accurate throughout long listening sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, audio annotation, or quality-assurance projects.
• Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time hourly engagement.
• Approximately 20 hours per week, or about 4 hours per day.
• Applicants may be based anywhere, with preference for candidates in regions where Brazilian Portuguese is natively spoken.

Compensation

$15 to $20 per hour.
